Browning August goes international!

Browning August goes international!

What a fantastic month we had with the Browning August competition!

We`ve seen over 200 shooters come along from all over the world, including Germany, Sweden, and Australia. They took part in the Browning 100 sporting challenge, Browning Rabbit Mania and the pool shoot. The course was set up to test a variety of shooters, from competitive clay shooters, to our club members and novices - all designed by the Oxford Gun Company’s new Grounds Manager Tom Howe.

The winner of the Open was Jim Forsberg from Sweden, shooting 93 ex 100, taking home a Browning 525 shotgun.

The Junior winner was James Bradley-Day, with 86 ex 100, also taking home a Browning 525 Shotgun.

The Ladies winner was also an overseas visitor - Angelika, shooting 77 ex 100 and taking home 750 Winchester shells.

David Stapley from Browning UK said: "It`s great to see shooters coming from all over the world to take part in The Browning August Challenge - it has been the best event to-date, in partnership with The Oxford Gun Company, and we`re looking forward to next year!"

A big thank you to everyone who took part, and particularly our winners!
